When it comes to cabaret and shows Benidorm really does have it all
from the downright bizarre to true quality entertainers and everything in
between. Expect to see world class acts and a few acts who think they are
world class but seem to live in their own little world.
It was once said that the Benidorm cabaret and show scene is where
old troupers come to die, there is some truth in this today. You can expect to
see all those acts from the 1970's and 80's where you will hear yourself say "
didn't they used to be...." Having said that you can also expect to see some
of the big names from the UK and the best new talent on the coast too.
It is almost impossible to keep up to date with who is appearing
tonight and who is due to perform next week. The Benidorm entertainment
scene changes from week to week according to visitor numbers and Spanish
business owners are known for paying as little as they can for good acts
(shame on them). Therefore acts come and go and return again for no
apparent reason.
Almost all shows are free giving you the chance to pop in and pop out
of venues until you find an ideal act to suit your mood. Most cabaret venues
are located around the Levante, Rincon De Loix area and all within a short
walk of each other. You will find talented Singers, Comedians, Tribute bands
and speciality acts across the resort offering a great night out with a huge and
diverse number of acts to see all minutes from your Benidorm hotel.
There are shows for Guys and shows for Girls, Family shows and
Kiddies shows. The later it gets the more adult shows tend to be, so expect
some very blue Comedians and of course comedy strip show legends such as
Sticky Vikki and Sexy Barbra (Apparently they are legends!)
For the biggest and most famous night out book the Benidorm Palace
where for over 30 years this expansive Cabaret and Dinner Show has been
wowing people from all over the world. A touch of Las Vegas in Benidorm.
