| Without a doubt Cala Finestrat offers a totally different Holiday in Spain when compared to it's big Costa Blanca neighbour of Benidorm. If you are looking for a relaxed beach Holiday where everything you need is just a few minutes walk from your Hotel or apartment then this lovely compact resort will be for you! To be honest it is simply great, we cannot recommend La Cala enough! There is good 3 and 4 star Hotel accommodation and excellent quality tourist Apartments of 2 and 3 key ratings. Also recommended is the brand new Luxury JM Hoteles La Cala apartment complex. Only 600m from the beach where there are excellent special offers in this totally new complex of large luxurious apartments. Wherever you decide to stay you will never be more than 650m from the beach. All Hotels are ideal for families with young children, plus the 4 star Hotel Bali is a perfect place to stay for couples both young and more mature. |
| Life is very cosmopolitan in La Cala Finestrat attracting a broad range of visitors and residents from all over Europe and even Russia. In Summer months La Cala is a favourite with Families. In Spring, Autumn, Winter the beach is quieter. With a stunning beach and safe swimming, plenty of sun beds to hire and a great selection of Spanish café bars and restaurants, plus British and Irish pubs right on the beach you will find all you could want in La Cala. For those on self catering there are two supermarkets including a large Mercadona, one of the best chains in Spain. A great place to shop if you enjoy local fish too! Prefer to eat out every day, no problem. There is an excellent quality seafood restaurant right on the sands and three terrace restaurants where you can enjoy a typical Spanish three course menu of the day with Wine for under 10€ or fresh Pizzas for 6€. Whilst you dine you can listen to the sea which is just feet way! If you want home cooked British food on the beach there are British café bars and a quality Irish Pub called Molly Malones where you will find an excellent traditional " Pub Grub" menu and a really comfy terrace with great views. ( Try La Cala Fin on the beach too) All this and 20 excellent friendly Spanish café bars with terraces for chilling out with a morning coffee or drinks and Tapas on those warm evenings. Life in La Cala Finestrat tends to go to sleep around 2am in Summer but you will find a trendy bar above the beach which is a popular haunt of young locals where you can keep on drinking until 4am. Then take a taxi to the all night Discos in Benidorm until dawn, if you still have the energy! |

We recommend booking your Hotel and Holiday in La Cala Finestrat in August when there is a full programme of events almost including, street theatre, films on the beach, artisans markets plus music, bands and open air events on the beach. Obviously a lively time of year when Spanish families and even young children will be out until very late. If you prefer quiet and relaxed avoid August and stay anytime from April to July or September to October for the best weather. June is a good month with fine weather and booking when the Fiesta of San Juan is on is a great experience 19th to 24th (See All Fiesta Dates). If you are looking for a long stay Winter Holiday then Cala Finestrat is simply perfect with great deals and huge savings on apartments and hotel deals from November right through until May. Getting out and about is easy from La Cala Finestrat as is parking if
you hire a car. With a bus every 12 minutes until 11pm in Winter and night
buses in July and August which run all night from Benidorm. Two buses
operate into and from the old town and Levante ~ Bus No.2 take you to
Benidorm center and the Rincon de Loix and also to the La Marina commercial
center where you will find over 100 national chain stores and a Carrefour
hypermarket. Bus No.3 takes you into the old town along the Poniente Playa
and will bring you back to La Cala from Park Elche opposite the harbour in the
old town. Taxis cost about 10€ into Benidorm.
If you stay at one of the

there is a free coach to their other hotels,
where guests on ALL inclusive 7 night or
more holidays can eat and drink free.
